2016 Petit Verdot
The 2016 vintage of Anelare’s Dionysus Vineyard Petit Verdot feels almost sinful, and with every sip you will feel the warmth of our Columbia Valley Indian summers on your face as you are arrested by the divine smells of earthy notes of crushed granite followed by all those baked-to- prefection and almost jammy-like dark berries and bursting with aromas of seasonal spices comingled with the comfort foods of the holidays to come. Balanced by bright acidity and well-integrated tannins, this wine feels velvety on the palate, with a smooth, plush finish.
Logic would dictate this balanced wine should age well, becoming more interesting after a few years tucked away in a dark, cool cellar.
