Tasting Notes
This blend is a special new release for Anelare. We've always loved our Rhône varietals, and this is a favorite site for sourcing, Boushey vineyard. The label came from a photo taken by a club member who was hiking out here on McBee. It is a Cairn, which is a pleasant reminder of those who come before us, contributing, helping to lead the way. Importantly, inspiration to keep on, listen to your spiritual journey. A place of peace and grounding. The essence of Washington wine, and how we feel on McBee.
Notes of big, luscious plum. Dust of the Earth, with dried herb, delicate hibiscus, and a touch of leather. It moves into a silky smooth mouthfeel, with a hint of vanilla, wood, and cinnamon stick from that gorgeous new French oak. As it opens up, it becomes juicier. Tight tannins now to show how this wine will positively age in bottle.
